Balian of Ibelin and his new army were waiting inside the city, when he saw a man on the horizon. He told his army that the enemies where here but the army did not trust him. And then, a million of cavaliers arrived in the front of the gates of the city and started to attack the city with fire canons, until the walls fell. 
In reality, they would have attack them with swords, bows and arrows because they did not have fire canons.
